Fred Alale is a very dynamic African-Australian community advocate in Melbourne. He has been at the forefront of many important projects that have led to a positive transformation of the broader African-Australian community in Victoria over the last several years.

Fred is from a Nigerian background and an accountant by trade. He describes himself as Project Management Professional, Chartered Accountant, African Australian Community Leader and budding social commentator.
Fred was the President of the Nigerian Society of Australia for many years and contributed to the growth and development of the Association. More recently Fred has made significant contributions in various organisations such as Africa Day, African-Australian Community Leadership Forum, the Incubate foundation and the African Cultural and Music Festival (ACMF), one of the biggest African-Australian festivals in Australia.
